Transfer and Get Started

Mitchell’s Academy would love to accept any transfer students, who can provide satisfactory transcripts of credits earned in other schools and who have a transfer permit from the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners.

Qualified transfer students will be accepted providing space is available and will receive credit for work done at other school(s). Such credit allowances will shorten the program accordingly; however, Mitchell’s Academy reserves the right to determine acceptance of any credits earned and clock hours of transferring students, providing they are able to comply with other admission requirements.

All Cosmetology transfer students must complete a minimum of 750 hours at Mitchell’s Academy. All Esthetics transfer students must complete a minimum of 300 hours at Mitchell’s Academy.
